How can I schedule an appointment?
We operate on an referral-only basis. Please contact your optometrist or ophthalmologist for an assessment; they can refer you to one of the specialists at the Retina Centre of Ottawa.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring your health card, a list of current medications, current glasses, and any previous eye health records. This information helps us provide the best care possible.
What are your office hours?
Our office is open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are closed on weekends and public holidays.
What should I do in case of an emergency?
If you are a current patient and experience a sudden change in vision, please call our office immediately. For after-hours emergencies, visit the nearest hospital. In the Ottawa area, the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus has ophthalmology residents on staff for eye emergencies. It is located at 501 Smyth Road, Ottawa, Ontario K1H 8L6.
How do I prepare for surgery?
Our team will provide detailed instructions before your surgery, including fasting requirements and post-operative care guidelines.
